About Me

After 30+ years in graphic design and marketing, it took me a while to call myself an artist. Design had rules, structure, and clear goals—it felt certain. But art, to me, was always uncertain. How do you create without a brief? How do you trust your intuition over a strategy?

Gel printing was my entry into a new way of creating—one that doesn’t rely on rigid plans or expectations. It taught me to let go, to make marks without overthinking, and to trust the process. Rather than trying to create something “good,” I learned to embrace the surprises and the imperfections as part of the journey.

This lead me to collage, mixed media, monoprinting, and painting—an ongoing exploration of the present. It’s not about getting to a final destination, but about letting each piece evolve organically, responding to what’s happening in the moment. I’ve also learned to view my wide-ranging interests, my adult-diagnosed ADD, and my constant need for experimentation as strengths, not weaknesses.

I’m inspired by architecture, nature, travel, and minimalism, but above all, I’m inspired by the act of creating itself. It’s about discovering new possibilities in every moment, and I love helping others find that same creative freedom—whether they’re just starting or looking to push their practice further.
